IN THING Caribbean is a digital platform and community on a mission to celebrate and give visibility to Caribbean style from the source to the world through a cultured, appreciative, cultivating, and vibes-filled lens. We cover topics in fashion such as outfit ideas, style tips, Caribbean style, trends and more. And also delve into beauty, lifestyle, and culture.
The Caribbean has long been bursting with talent and vision within fashion, culture and beyond and we aim to be a hub to highlight such gifts. We hope to continue to cultivate and spotlight Caribbean talent and provide the right platform to continue honing Caribbean excellence.
As the sister site to IN THING, a style platform championing self discovery and helping women wanting to elevate their look, craft their personal style DNA , IN THING Caribbean acts as an extension of that mission with focus on the Caribbean.

Kamara Williams is an NYC-based Creative, Consultant, and Editor born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago.
“Growing up in Trinidad I was always enamored with fashion and style and its powerful story-telling abilities. But more than that I’ve always been amazed with its transformative capabilities and how one good outfit can change the entire way you feel about yourself. In 2015, after graduating from Ithaca College with a B.A. in Writing, I launched IN THING to give women that gift and help them discover themselves through style.
With the same passion, I’m now celebrating Caribbean style and flair through IN THING Caribbean to give appreciation and visibility to the space and place that started it all. And to create a hub where Caribbean women in the region and the diaspora could come to for daily Caribbean style inspiration. Something I wish existed growing up as a fashion lover in Trinidad.”
Kamara has also appeared in international magazines and publications such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Who What Wear and more as a model and content creator. And also runs a creative agency, Kharma Media, where she elevates fashion, beauty and lifestyle entrepreneurs’ social and brand presence through digital marketing and creative consulting.
